What we store in your browser, why we use it, and how to change your choice on the Urban Garage website.

The website at a glance
Necessary functionality
We remember your cookie choice and protect administrator sign-in.
Measurement is your choice
Vercel traffic and performance measurement starts only with Analytics and performance consent. There is no advertising measurement.
Change at any time
Use Cookie settings in the footer to reopen your choice.
01 / What are cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of text stored in your browser that the browser can send back to the relevant website. It can remember a previous choice or maintain a secure sign-in session. We also consider similar browser-storage technologies, rather than cookies alone.
Cookies strictly necessary to provide a service you request do not need optional consent. We treat optional measurement separately: Vercel traffic and performance measurement on this website starts only after prior Analytics and performance consent.
02 / What does this website use?
Urban Garage lets you select a service and send an enquiry to the garage. Our own cookie remembers your cookie choice. Protected service administration uses necessary authentication cookies and email-code sign-in; visitors do not have customer accounts.
With Analytics and performance consent, Vercel Web Analytics aggregates public page views and Vercel Speed Insights measures page speed and usability. Measurement runs only on the published website’s exact HTTPS address, on the Hungarian and English home, contact and cookie-policy pages. Local development, previews, administration, APIs, cancellation links and unknown routes are excluded.
We remove query parameters and fragments from measured page URLs. We do not send custom events, enquiry details, names, contact details, vehicle details or form text to the measurement systems. We do not use Google Analytics or Meta Pixel integrations. Fonts and images are served from the website’s own files; Google Maps and Facebook are not embedded.
Accept all cookies enables both Vercel measurements. Necessary only rejects them. Cookie settings also provides one shared Analytics and performance switch. A choice saved under the earlier notice, which did not include analytics, does not count as measurement consent: we ask for a renewed choice. Continuing to browse is not consent.
03 / Cookies, measurement technologies and duration
First-party functionality and authentication cookies and consented Vercel measurement are identified separately. A browser cookie’s lifetime and a provider’s reporting window are different things.
NECESSARY · COOKIE CHOICE
urban-garage-consent
Provider
Urban Garage / Levisions, on this website’s own host.
What is it for?
Remembers the all or necessary choice, settings version 2 and the time of the choice. This also controls optional Vercel measurement but does not contain measurement, enquiry or sign-in details.
How long does it stay?
180 days from your saved choice; a new choice starts this period again.
When is it created?
When you save an explicit choice through the cookie controls.
Scope and protection
Host-only; Path=/; SameSite=Lax; Secure on HTTPS. Not HttpOnly: the website’s code reads and updates your choice.
Changing and deleting
Change it through Cookie settings or delete it in your browser. We ask for a choice again after deletion.
OPTIONAL · ANALYTICS AND PERFORMANCE
Vercel Web Analytics
Provider
Vercel, within Urban Garage’s own project.
What is it for?
Aggregated traffic statistics to improve the website. Vercel may process time, a sanitised page route, referrer, approximate location, browser and operating-system type/version, device type and script version.
How long does it stay?
Vercel distinguishes visitors using a hash derived from the incoming request instead of third-party cookies; the visitor session is discarded after 24 hours. The current Pro reporting window is 12 months; this is not a deletion deadline for all stored data.
When is it created?
With valid Analytics and performance consent, only on the production public pages listed above. The earlier consent version does not enable it.
Scope and protection
Consent and the approved page are checked before each send; URL query parameters and fragments are removed. No custom events or personal enquiry data are sent. The first-party cookie remembering your choice is a separate necessary function.
Changing and deleting
Withdraw through Cookie settings to stop further measurement. Previously sent aggregates are not automatically deleted. Vercel does not publish one precise deletion period for all measurement data here; see its data-processing sources below.
OPTIONAL · ANALYTICS AND PERFORMANCE
Vercel Speed Insights
Provider
Vercel, within Urban Garage’s own project.
What is it for?
Measures loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability using browser performance data. Vercel may process a sanitised page route, network type, browser/device/operating-system type, country, performance measurements, technical element selectors, SDK information and receipt time. Vercel says these do not identify visitors or reconstruct cross-page browsing sessions.
How long does it stay?
Basic Speed Insights offers 24-hour and seven-day reporting views. These are reporting windows, not cookie lifetimes or guaranteed deletion deadlines. The provider does not publish an exact deletion period for all underlying data here.
When is it created?
With the same valid Analytics and performance consent, only on approved production public pages. The earlier consent version does not enable it.
Scope and protection
The page and consent are checked before each send; measured URLs contain no query parameters or fragments. Administrator and cancellation pages are excluded. No form values or enquiry details are sent.
Changing and deleting
Withdrawing Analytics and performance consent stops further measurement. Cookie settings does not delete previously delivered aggregates; contact Levisions with data-processing questions.
Manages the administrator session and secure email-code sign-in. The session cookie is named urban-garage-auth, with numbered parts such as .0 and .1 for larger values. Sign-in may also use the helper cookies urban-garage-auth-code-verifier, urban-garage-auth-flow-<id>-code-verifier and urban-garage-auth-flows-code-verifier.
How long does it stay?
Up to 400 days in the browser from a cookie being set. This is a storage maximum, not permission to stay signed in for 400 days: the actual session may expire or be revoked earlier.
When is it created?
During administrator-initiated sign-in and authentication; not needed for public browsing.
Scope and protection
First-party; Path=/; HttpOnly; SameSite=Lax; Secure on HTTPS. Website JavaScript cannot read the cookie values.
Changing and deleting
Signing out removes the current session cookies. You can also clear remaining website data in your browser settings.
04 / Choosing, changing and deleting
When first choosing, you can use Accept all cookies, Necessary only or Cookie settings. In settings, set Analytics and performance as you prefer and save your selection. This panel does not disable necessary functionality or sign-in cookies. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent browsing or trying the enquiry form.
Cookie settings in the footer and the button below let you reopen your choice at any time. Choose Necessary only, or turn measurement off and save, to withdraw consent; further measurement stops. Withdrawal does not automatically delete aggregated statistics already sent to Vercel or affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
You can delete or block this website’s cookies through your browser’s privacy settings. Deleting the choice cookie, its expiry or an invalid version will make the notice appear again. Blocking all cookies may prevent your choice from being saved and stop administrator sign-in. Administrators can end their current session by signing out.
We do not save form details in browser storage. Enquiry email processing is explained below.
05 / External websites and providers
Google Maps and Facebook links open the external website only when you click them. The provider’s own privacy and cookie rules then apply; the Urban Garage cookie choice does not manage preferences on another website.
Vercel hosts this website and Supabase provides authentication for protected administration. Serving web requests may involve processing technical information such as IP addresses and request data; this does not enable an optional analytics or advertising cookie.
Vercel processes the consented measurement data; Levisions uses aggregated reports to improve the website. Vercel’s data-processing terms allow processing in the United States and other countries, subject to the transfer safeguards described in those terms.
The form asks for your name, an email address or phone number, and your enquiry; service selection and vehicle details are optional. We use these details to respond and discuss the service you request. This does not reserve an appointment, and we do not send a visitor acknowledgement email.
Legal basis: steps you request before a possible service agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for general questions, the legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)). We retain correspondence for up to 6 months after the enquiry closes. Relevant records arising from a service relationship or legal claim may have separate legal or accounting retention requirements.
Resend delivers the enquiry only to the garage’s Gmail inbox at ukristof2@gmail.com. Form text is not saved in the website database, browser storage or analytics. Emails and replies remain with the email providers. Vercel hosts the website; Supabase provides administrator authentication and catalogue storage; Levisions has technical access for operating the website.
Abuse prevention stores protected technical records containing a digest of the caller and email, the rate-limit scope, time and counter. Digests are pseudonymous, not anonymous; these records contain no raw contact details or message. Records up to one day old are used; older records are deleted on the next rate-limit operation. Hosting and authentication providers may maintain separate technical logs under their own policies.
You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction and, where applicable, portability or object to processing. Contact the garage at the email above. You may complain to Hungary’s National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (naih.hu). Enquiries do not lead to automated decision-making or profiling.
Providers may process information outside the EEA, including in the United States, under their privacy terms and transfer safeguards. Their official sources are linked below.
Your choice is always available
Reopen your settings to change or withdraw Analytics and performance consent. Your choice does not affect trying the enquiry form.
07 / Controller and contact
Urbán Kristóf egyéni vállalkozó, 2092 Budakeszi, Hidegvölgy 2418 hrsz. Send questions about data processing and your enquiry to the garage’s email below.
These official sources explain necessary cookies, optional consent, Vercel measurement data, and enquiry email. A reporting window does not mean all underlying data is deleted at the same time.
